I won’t go back…

I was excited to go and see Erykah Badu but was very disappointed when that didn’t happen. My reasons are as follows. 1. The concert was advertised from 12:30-4:30, but that didn’t happen. I’d planned my day around that time frame. But once I arrived there, I was then informed that Ms. Badu was not scheduled to perform until 9:45 that evening. That advertisement was “deceptive”, and clearly a “bait and switch”. There were people added to the line-up that I or other people in the audience didn’t know or pay to see. 2. The concert “started” 3 hours late. I generally don’t wait on any venue to start for that long, but since I really wanted to see Erykah Badu perform, I waited. Until then me along with other patrons had to sit in the heat, and listen to the DJ test the sound system for the performance off and on. 3, I had to leave without seeing perform who I wanted to see. Since I’d planned my trip around the 12:30-4:30 time frame. I had to leave around 3:15, because I had to go back and care for a medically fragile relative. I came to this concert, so that I could get a break from that, but sad to say couldn’t get one. I want my money back, because I’m very disappointed with my experience at Lakewood Ampitheater. I will never come back unless there’s a guarantee that the venue will start on time, and the people will perform at the time advertised.
